Is it really possible to elope in another country less than couple days of planning? Yes, it really is!
Izzy and Stephen are Americans living in Germany and their original plan was to have a destination wedding in America and having their wedding guests all around the world. But like we know it, covid-19 happened and changed hundreds and hundreds of wedding couples plans. They were looking for other options and suddenly they got the idea: elope in Iceland. Both of them had visited Iceland before, and they had loved the country very much. Izzy and Steph contacted me just two days before they were planning to fly to Iceland and get married!
All they had planned was that they wanted to say "I do" at Seljalandsfoss the waterfall. Luckily Izzy and Stephen had sent all the paperwork couple weeks before that needed to be done to get married in Iceland. I made quickly their elopement planning from location idea list, suggestions on what to pack with you to Iceland and all the way to bring snacks with me on their elopement day.
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland, specially since you can get behind it. You also don't need a special permission to get married there but you have to keep on your mind that evens that you are getting married there, you can't reserve any spot.
