Welcome to Your Iceland Elopement Journey
Allison and Chris,
You’re officially at the beginning of something really special.
This page is here to recap what we talked about, confirm what you’ve booked, and show you what happens next — so you can relax, feel excited, and know you’re fully taken care of.
Your Elopement Vision (As I Understand It)
From our call, your elopement feels centred on:
Iceland’s blue ice caves that don’t even look real
Creating a day that feels meaningful — not rushed or overproduced
Having a freaking cool Asatru ceremony and drinking from the horns.
Or scratch that and make the day even more YOU. Like having Slipknot blasting from a speaker when you seal your kiss as a married couple.
That’s exactly how I approach elopements.
Your private ice cave experience:
This is not a tourist stop.
This is a sacred place for a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
What the Private Ice Cave Experience Includes
Exclusive access to the ice cave
Just the two of you, me, Jökull the officiant and a certified glacier guide. No other visitors, no interruptions.
Private jeep transfer to the glacier
All safety equipment is provided: Helmets, crampons, and gear — fitted and guided by professionals who work on this glacier daily.
Approx. 3 hours total experience: Including travel, time inside the cave, space for your ceremony, portraits inside multiple cave chambers, and moments on the glacier itself.
No rushing. Time to breathe, ground yourselves, and fully experience where you are.
Your Asatru ceremony:
Your Asatru ceremony brings a deeply intentional layer to this experience.
Rooted in Norse tradition, nature reverence, and ancestral connection, this ceremony is about honouring the elements, the land, and the bond you’re choosing — not performing for anyone else.
Inside the ice cave, the ceremony becomes:
Quiet, grounded, and deeply intimate
Surrounded by ice that has formed over centuries
Held in a place shaped by both volcanic fire and glacial ice
We will choose a spot within the cave that feels right — one with space, stillness, and energy that supports the ritual you want to create.
There is no script you need to follow perfectly.
The ceremony unfolds naturally, guided by intention, not performance.

Location contex:
The frozen lagoon is located at Hoffelsjökull.
The backup option, the other place with blue ice “walls”, is at Breiðamerkurjökull
Due to these two locations, I would recommend a hotel in between, for example, Hotel Jökulsarlon, which is my favourite. It has hot tubs where you can watch the northern lights, and sometimes we get reindeer there.
Because I live here and work closely with the glacier teams, the final cave selection is always made close to your date — ensuring we choose the most stable, beautiful, and meaningful space available at that time.
This flexibility is what allows your experience to stay safe and extraordinary.
What you can expect from me:
You’re not just hiring someone to document your day.
You’ll have:
A local who knows Iceland’s landscapes, seasons, and rhythms
Someone thinking ahead about weather, safety, light, and logistics
Clear communication throughout the planning process
Space to ask questions, change your mind, and refine your vision
Helps you pick up the coolest rocks and is a sheep whisperer.
My role is to make your elopement feel calm, intentional, and fully supported — so you can focus on each other.
What happens after you book:
1.)Your Date Is Officially Reserved
Once the contract is signed and the booking fee (50% of the package) is paid:
Your date is locked exclusively for you
The private ice cave experience is reserved with the glacier team
Your elopement becomes my top planning priority
From this point on, I’m fully in your corner.
PST! We also offer payment plans
2.) Access to the Iceland Elopement Roadmap
You’ll receive access to my Iceland Elopement Planning Portal — your private, step-by-step guide designed to remove overwhelm and replace it with clarity.
Inside, you’ll find:
Location guidance and seasonal insights
Timeline planning support
Packing and clothing advice for Iceland conditions
Ceremony guidance
Travel tips and “What to expect” resources
You can move through this at your own pace — there’s no rush and no pressure to do everything at once.
3.) Getting to Know You (The Meaningful Part)
You’ll be invited to fill out a few thoughtful questionnaires — not busywork, but intentional prompts that help me understand:
What truly matters to you on your day
How you want your ceremony to feel
Your comfort levels, preferences, and priorities
The kind of experience that will feel most for you
This is how your elopement becomes personal — not templated.
4. Custom Location & Timeline Planning
Based on your answers and our conversations, I’ll:
Create custom location recommendations tailored to you
Design a flowing, realistic timeline for your day
Factor in light, weather, privacy, and energy
Build in flexibility and backup options
You won’t be handed a rigid schedule — you’ll receive a plan that breathes.
5.) Final Details & Gentle Guidance
As your date approaches, I’ll guide you through:
Final timing and logistics
What to wear and bring
How the private ice cave experience will unfold
Any last questions or “what ifs”
Nothing is left to guesswork — but nothing feels over-managed either.
6. Your Elopement Day
On the day itself, your only job is to show up and be present.
I’ll be there:
Holding the structure of the day
Reading the conditions in real time
Keeping things calm, safe, and flowing
Giving you space when you need it
And quietly documenting the moments that matter most
Your ceremony, your connection, your experience — that’s the focus.
You’ve already chosen to do this in a way that feels right for you.
From here on out, things get lighter:
The planning becomes clearer
The excitement grows
And your day starts to take shape naturally
If questions come up — big or small — just reach out.
I’m so excited to create this experience with you.
